Insect Website Title

Neomysia Ladybugs

Striped ladybug (Neomysia subvittata)

Found in Skagit county Washington. The common name is applied to a different genus which occurs in the South, however, they look quite different. These have indistinct stripes on the wing covers, hence the species name subvittata which means formed lines.
