Two Spotted Ladybug

Two-spotted Ladybug (Adalia bipunctata) - Usually red wing covers with 2 black spots. Head shield is either black with pale markings as in 1st view or Western version is pale with exaggerated M shape. Confusion between this one and the Asian Ladybug (Harmonia Axyridis). Sometimes the wing covers are all black except for 2 red spots and a red mark on each shoulder. (about 1/8 - 1/4 inch) 3.5 to 5.2 mm. Return to Index.
